AI Toolkit for Teachers

Artificial Intelligence has quickly become part of everyday teaching and learning. But which tools are really worth your time, and how can they help rather than overwhelm? This seminar offers a clear overview of the current state of AI in education and introduces a practical “toolkit” for teachers. We’ll explore how AI can support lesson preparation, content creation, assessment, and feedback, and how it can help reduce your workload while opening new opportunities for creativity and student engagement. Participants will leave with concrete examples, hands-on tips, and ideas they can immediately try out in their own teaching.

Kateřina Chudová is the Head of the Language Centre at the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University. With two decades of experience as an English language instructor, she is a recent recipient of the Rector’s Award for Innovation in Teaching. Her work focuses on legal English and the integration of modern technologies into language education, with a special emphasis on transferable skills, internationalization, artificial intelligence and gamification. Kateřina is a regular speaker on AI in language learning and serves as the academic coordinator for summer schools on creative teaching, professional English, and the use of AI in academia. She has a long-standing interest in developing and supporting innovative approaches to teaching and education at the university level.
